Trail Buddies Club

Dogs love the chance to explore, sniff new smells, and enjoy the great outdoors! Our Nature Hiking service provides an enriching adventure while giving dogs the opportunity to get exercise, breathe fresh air, and have plenty of time to just be a dog.

Original Bark offers on-leash group hikes through parks and forested areas throughout the Southwest Portland region. Each adventure is led by a trusted dog hiker and includes 60 minutes of trail time, with transportation provided to and from your home or one of our locations. The OB Bus is a climate-controlled van with secure kennels designed for safe and comfortable travel.

Nature Hikes are currently available Monday through Friday, with plans to expand our hiking schedule in the future.

Looking To Enroll?

  1. Create Your Account: Click the Customer Portal button in the top corner of our website, then select New Member and complete the registration form.

  2. Schedule a Free Temperament Evaluation: Before your dog's first hike, you'll schedule a free temperament evaluation. During this in-store visit, we'll introduce your dog to other dogs, and make sure they can walk well on leash.

  3. Bring or Upload Vaccination Records: Please provide proof of current vaccinations at the time of your dog's appointment.

  4. Need Help? If you're unable to register or book online, or you'd rather speak with our front desk, give us a call at (503) 295-BARK.
